The Mummy's Curse (1944)- More of the same.I found it slightly less interesting than The Mummy's Ghost. The scene of the female mummy Ananka rising from the ground was pretty creepy.
The Black Castle (1952)- Good overall film. Entertaining but predictable. I expected Boris Karloff to have more screen time and Lon Chaney Jr. had even less. I found it funny that they included a line that stated that Lon's character had his tongue ripped out by native savages! Good excuse not to give him any lines! He did get to grunt a few times in this one.
Throw in a pit of fierce man eating crocodiles, a good fencing duel and a death by poison!
