I've tried over and over recommending The Best Years Of Our Lives, Joe.
No one ever seems interesting.
Except one. I am not kidding. Except one: A friend...a young woman with one arm that's getting married later this month. She's a WW2 buff, more than me even.
I was worried about whether....
Well, you know. She had no trouble about Homer in the movie.
Heck, I thought Ernie Pyle was buried here in Indiana. She's visited his grave and monument in...Hawaii.
I'll stop now. A WW2 discussion with me might go on deep into the night.
