I try to take the month of October and watch one or two films a day. I got in 58 films, 21 of which were from the 1930's and 40's. I always watch one silent film. The rest, a little of everything.
The highlights:
The White Cockatoo (1935)
Seven Sinners (1936)- more of a thriller. Cool movie.
Black Dragons (1942)- Bela Lugosi. Loved it.
Revenge of the Zombies (1943)- Not a great film. Slow, but I it is a sequel to 'King of the Zombies", which I enjoy. John Carridine.
The Inheritance aka "Uncle Silas" (1947)- really good film. Drama, Mystery, Thriller. Good niece moves in with evil greedy uncle after her father's death.
The Manster (1959)- Typical 1950's monster fun.
Willard (1971)- A 70's classic and a first-time watch.
I also enjoyed the Mr. Wong films to varying degrees and the one Charlie Chan film I watched.
Hey Al, I also watch "Young Frankenstein" for the first time. It was a hoot! Marty Feldman!
