I agree. I'd rather see him on a roster and interacting with Scarlet Witch.
However, if Dan Slott and Christos Gage can hold onto some of their synergy from being co-writers, then its very possible that we will still get our fair share of interaction.
On a different frot - it did sound as if Tigra would be playing a significant role in Avengers: The Initiative so there is also that angle to explore.
: I'd prefer to see him in Mighty Avengers since
: that is where the Scarlet Witch will appear
: next but I'll settle for The Initiative.

: I've been speculating in another thread
: how it seemed strange that the only Secret
: Invasion: Who Do You Trust? storyline that
: hasn't seemed to tie into any Dark Reign
: series has been the Wonder Man & Beast
: What I had overlooked was that the story was
: written by Christos Gage -who as we know
: will be taking over the solo reigns of
: Avengers: The Initiative.
: So.....I think this ought to significantly
: raise the odds that Wonder Man will have a
: featured role in that series once Gage's
: Dark Reign stories kick off.
: Not a guarantee - as Zeb Wells write the
: Noh-Varr story while Noh-varr will be
: written by Brian Bendis in Dark Avengers.
: But to me, the pieces seem to fit.

: With all of the shake-ups that we've seen in
: the Marvel Universe following the Secret
: Invasion storyline, we have now discovered
: that a majority of Camp Hammond's
: instructors have left - Justice, Skrull Hank
: Pym, War Machine - all gone. It looks like
: the Taskmaster may be staying around but
: other than that it seems to be wide open.
: Now, although I do not think it is a
: reality, what are the chances of Simon
: becoming an Instructor for the Fifty State
: Initiative Program in Stamford, Connecticut?
: I welcome all opinions!
