I mostly remember Simon being one of the more active recruiters for the Initiative and his being involved in personally inviting a few of the original recruits for Camp Hammons training. Simon even popped up in Moon Knight alongside Iron Man and Ms. Marvel as spokespeople for The Initiative. The leap from recruiter to instructor for someone of Simon’s experience makes sense to me and I would love to see it happen.
Personally I would rather see Simon be an instructor at Camp Hammond simply because I find the book to be better written than the other Avengers titles. I actually enjoyed the Secret Invasion crossover in that title and Ms. Marvel so if he ends up in either book permanently or as a guest star again I welcome it.
There is still room for him in Mighty Avengers during the upcoming Scarlet Witch appearance without having him on the book as a regular if he does become an instructor for Camp Hammond. I think it would be a blunder on the writer’s part if both Wonder Man and the Vision weren’t somehow included in the upcoming Scarlet Witch storyline.
As much as I like Wonder Man as part of an official Avengers roster in an Avengers title, I think there is a much better chance of his character being spotlighted every week as a heavy hitter and a veteran Avenger as part of Camp Hammond’s staff. Too often he seems to get lost in the mix of Mighty Avengers and gets relegated to the background or overshadowed by the other power houses on the team.

: That would be cool. Simon has a personality
