: I agree with you 100%, Matt. I hope some good
: comes of this, also. I, too, am sick of him
: being known as a "jobber". I can't
: even read the "Battles Board"
: because he is almost always trashed. Bendis
: made Luke Cage popular again, hopefully he
: can do the same for Wonder Man.
:
: As for his ionic glow, I've always been a
: fan of that(The one point Mitchel and I will
: always disagree on!). I always thought he
: should use his ionic energy to his
: advantage-like an ionic Human Torch. Not so
: much the size changing or shape shifting,
: but he should be able to shoot it out in a
: number of ways. Add that to his class 100
: strength and a chip on his shoulder and he
: could be almost unstoppable!
Yes, there is so much potential in the character. The guy has a degree in engineering, and is a movie star, and yet typically has little to say. Certainly with his background he should be making better use of his abilities.. Now thankfully Sentry (and to a lesser degree Ares)have gone, lets have Simon step up to the plate. Simon did channel some energy into Ultron in MA 5 or 6 I think it was, so lets see more of that sort of stuff. people will argue that it is not classic Wonderman, but it is what a character with that concept should be able to do
