As a long time wrestling fan, my first thought was, "That's the Cobra Clutch!" Then I saw someone on the Avengers Board say the same thing.
It's funny how one great showing, as small as it was, really boosted Simon's rep. He got a lot of props on the Battle Board for that showing! It's like we always said: all it takes is one good writer, who is willing to take a chance with Wonder Man, to make him relevant again. It's not the character that's lame, it's the way he's been written.
