We don’t want to fly and we don’t want to fight
We don’t like the moon or Berlin at night
That’s about as much as I can remember for sure.
The next lines might be
(But) Whatever we do we do it all right
One hundred and eighty eight
Whatever, it’s probably the most honest song ever used in this context.
Did you find anything else about this song as I've tried but found nothing
Does anyone know the lyrics to the "Squadron Song," in the film "Appointment in London," 1953, written by the great John Wooldridge?
The song is sung by a male chorus at the end over the rolling credits. One line is "We're 188 on the line," the 188 referring to the squadron number in the film. But the words are slightly muffled, and I can't decipher them.
I'd be grateful for any information and pointers to where I might look.
