I agree that the story isn't grand but is off to a decent start so of course it would stretch out over three issues. BMB actually seemed to write the Rich and Quill dialogue and interaction the way we would have expected to. I agree with many critics when it comes to the weak GOTG Vol.3 series and haven't been buying it regularly but I've enjoyed BMB on his early Powers run, on most of the first Ultimate Comics USM and UXM run, and a few other Avengers and X-Men books he's worked on. So I don't dislike the guy personally. I just disagree on how he's been writing GOTG, how off all the members have been, etc.
Ed McG's art was indeed nice even with his stylized version of the Nova Prime uniform, particularly the helmet and red star rank emblem.
Congrats on scoring a MLIS Rider Nova. Also have to agree about the looking forward thing with Rich, even if its only for two more issues. Rich's eventual final fate may not be what we want for our favorite Marvel super hero but its still good to see him again after all this time. So far, he's acting like the heroic character we are all very familiar with.

: I picked up GOTG #18 today and found a Legends
: Nova as well, so it was a pretty good day.
:
: No spoilers, but whoever wrote that the
: story wasn's that good, but the art was nice
: was way off in my books. I enjoyed the
: story that BMB has started to craft, even if
: I might not like how it turns out. If
: you're a fan, IMO you're doing yourself a
: disservice if you don't pick it up.
:
: Can't wait until next month to pick up GOTG
: #19! It's kind of fun to have something to
: look forward to each month again.
