Nova's vol. 1 rogues, most are hokey...and there's something fun about that, but here's the bad guys I want to see:
Diamondhead should be around more, I know he's a goof, but that is the funny part about him. He's actually fairly original and has a decent look. DnA should have used him more than that one time. So too, Loeb. He's almost gotta show up and get his ass kicked right?
Terrax: he's pretty cool and I like him as a Nova / New Warriors villain.
Cancerverse/ Shuma Gorath: I'd like to see this stuff come back.
Sphinx: Part of me feels the Phinx arc killed the last Rich volume. A such, I'm mixed on Sphinx, frankly I prefer the female Sphinx, Meryet Karim, and think she was awesome. She had more emotion backing her origin...and IMO had some potential as a almost tragic hero type figure.
Titus: I thought they made a huge mistake with him making him a one-trick pony...should have been a reoccurring character/ villain and added depth. I liked his design.
Thanos: Rich and Thanos have been tied together since Annihilation...they've never explained why Thanos was collecting Nova helmets, nor have they explained what went on with Rich when he died in the cancerverse between Thanos...has to be more to that story. I;d also like to see Proxima Midnight.
Raptors / Darkhawk: I don't need the expansive story DnA had planned, however, I'd like to see they are still on the map.
Ego: I think he's a great bad guy...love the initial stuff will feature him.
Garthan Saal...still please would be great to see something cool done here.
And of course....Annihilus...we need another reckoning here.

:
: I am pretty geeked overall. I actually
: rather like the idea of new threats and
: heroes rather than revisits of old stories.
: I can re-read the old comics for that. Give
: me something new.
:
: I am excited. It is imperative that I buy
: an issue (or three) at that time!

: Thanks for doing this...great stuff.
:
: A few of the things concern me, a few really
: pump me up. I wish they would be a bit more
: over the top in their intention to rope in
: old DnA fans...but this is not too shabby
: and the best we've seen.
:
: I see Jeff's point about Sam as a
: "fun" character, but there's a lot
: about how Sam came to be and was executed
: that was "what is wrong with
: Marvel" for the past few years at the
: same time. I've argued the Sam situation was
: , in fact, a microcosm of some of the issues
: plaguing Marvel.
:
:
:
: Still, really excited to check this out.
