Because I jump Old School with REAL danger. A 7 foot high ramp, low flight. FAST speeds, no 50 mph 190 feet jumps. No curved ramp. Plain old wedge ramp to ramp jump. Nobody jumps like this anymore. Spectators would rather see a 17 car jump at a real 72 mph then a 200 foot jump at 59 mph. That's the difference. And that's why we used to draw crowds.....REAL DANGER!!! Who crashes at 250 feet??? It's so calculated the danger is practically non existent, unless the riders a doofus and does something wrong. We'll have to wait and see how it draws. By the looks of the feedback I'm getting from stock car track and dragstrips, it looks like they are sick and tired of trying to deal with all the "punks" as they call them with their loud mouths and filthy tattoos. The tracks want a good exhibition show and jump. At least one with a perceived danger.
Anybody can jump a bike at slow speeds.
