Re: Nick wallenda Grand Canyon tight rope tonight on discovery
I watched it after seeing your post here Rock. Honestly had never heard of the guy until then. 1400' across, that guy's got nerves of steel. Camera work and live mic on him was great. Hear him talking and know where his courage came from. Reminded me also of RK's epic jump across the Canyon. Many down played the danger factor in that jump. He knew he could cover the distance but theres always the slight risk of engine sputter or failure before or on the takeoff ramp. He was also lucky that horrific cartwheel crash in the rough at the end of the jump didn't result in more serious injury. Somebody looking out for him too. --Previous Message-- : : Hey I saw the story bio of nick last night : on discovery it was : Pertty cool knievel and wallenda will be : forever the best in there field I think : tonight's event will be huge the coolest : Deal is it'll be on Navajo land and live tv : not pay per view : I hope he makes it across good luck and god : bless you : Nick wallenda :
