I remember people bashing Robbie's Grand Canyon jump
After it happened while doing an Internet search and looking
At other msg boards too Robbie's was pretty much like nick
Wallenda there was no food no water I can't even spell the
Indian tribe who gave Robbie permission to jump regardless
Of what people say it was a great jump nick has showman
Ship and a great personality
I did some searching on the net and found out a daredevil
Tightrope walker jay Cochran who was once featured on
Tlc daredevils said he was very proud of nick for crossing
The falls jay was once seriously injured paralised due to
A horrible fall it lasted four years
I wonder what the guy who crossed the World Trade Center
Thought of nick wallenda I first herd of them in a a and e VHS
Video where Robbie knievel jumps 26 cars no handed in ny
Looks like the name of Evel Knievel and wallenda will forever
Be remembered last nights event reminded me of Robbie's canyon jump

: I agree. I remember people saying "I
: noticed he picked the shortest distance
: across to jump" and I responded that he
: jump 200+ feet across a gorge that has down
: winds that many a helicopter crashes happen.
: Superficial idiots only judge distance and
: not notice the obstacles. RK has done a lot
: of jumps other jumpers dare try. The
: Wallenda family is hard core too.

: I watched it after seeing your post here
: Rock.
: Honestly had never heard of the guy until
: then. 1400' across, that guy's got nerves of
: steel. Camera work and live mic on him was
: great. Hear him talking and know where his
: courage came from. Reminded me also of RK's
: epic jump across the Canyon. Many down
: played the danger factor in that jump. He
: knew he could cover the distance but theres
: always the slight risk of engine sputter or
: failure before or on the takeoff ramp. He
: was also lucky that horrific cartwheel crash
: in the rough at the end of the jump didn't
: result in more serious injury. Somebody
: looking out for him too.
