For me…
The good news is I am down from my Sunday morning weigh in-the not so good news is that I am still up 3 pounds from last weeks official weigh in! Not sure if this is due to my feast day on Sunday followed by a 24 hour fast or what. I wondered how feasting so close to my weigh in day (which for me is Tuesday) would affect my 1st weigh in, but I’m determined to see this through and hope my body finds a rhythm that will let it start releasing some weight. I should point out I didn’t go crazy on my feast day-I had 3 meals. Breakfast was turkey bacon and eggs, lunch was egg salad on rice cakes, pretzels and a cup of Greek yogurt, and supper was 3 chicken street tacos and (here was my treat) a cup of frozen soft serve yogurt from Braums. So while I ate more than usual I didn’t really go too crazy. So we will see. Like I said I am determined and the more I read about how women’s bodies change as they age and need to fast differently the more I think I might be on the right track.
