Thank you dear Marianne for promoting my book - it was a nice day yesterday at Frederiksborg, and when I was speaking to Prince Christian he asked me, if he will be part of my next book now he has been painted. He is indeed a cute little boy. It was also a busy day for me giving quite a few interviews about the new painting (which is honestly not my cup of tea). But as a fan of royal portraiture I am happy for every new one painted :-) And I can tell you all that a new painting of the whole Danish royal family (in the style of Tuxen) is beeing painted right now by Thomas Kluge. The royal sitters will be depicted in the Garden Salon at Fredensborg - the same setting as in Tuxen´s well known painting from 1883 of Christian IX´s family. Its true that i have thanked the boards in my foreword - simply because I love and admire all the friendly knowledge shared here. Our boards are the first thing I read when i wake up and the last thing I do before bedtime. Thank you each and everyone for all our discussions thorugh the years - I am very grateful. Despite writing books and dooing a Ph.D. about my royal interest I have never considered myself as an "expert" - I feel that together - as a whole - we are all experts here. Thank you for letting me be a little part of this!
