Lovely photos Tamara. I think it is indeed the stomacher made into a Tiara. The original seem to have three 'sections' let say. As a tiara, it look to smaller 'sections' were added at left and right to turn it a bit larger. I'm not sure the earring were used in that process because those new 'sections' seem to be larger than the earrings itself. The hanging pearls used to 'crown' this new tiara must look perfect on it. The photo you posted of then Princess Anne-Marie seem to have the central pearl and a smaller one in the added 'section' which seem to be the most complete image of it and IMO the best one (though I like the way Maria-Chantal use it especially on her wedding day). Does someone has any idea if these jewels were ever approached by Prince Michael in one of his books? Not sure if he ever wrote about the Greek jewels. Though these are originally Danish. Do we have a match? * Hello magazine --Previous Message-- : Actually It looked lovely as a stomacher... : : : : : : : but I agree that with today's style, it was : wise to make the transition in to a lovely : tiara... : : : But one thing does puzzle me...what happened : to earrings...Princess Theodora wore both : tiara and brooch on 3 occasions (2004, 2007, : 2012)and I have yet to see her with : earrings...which makes me wonder, if they : were incorporated into redesigning of : stomacher into a tiara. : : Let's face it, those original earrings : weren't exactly amazing pieces... : 2004 : : 2007 : : : :
