That's perfectly possible, Tamara.
Queen Ingrid created or transformed other jewels - the diamond aigrettes, the ruby parure. In her own way, the late Queen was a creative woman. Queen Margrethe must have inherited this spirit from her mother.
Do you know if Queen Ingrid also wore this piece as a tiara before she gave it to Anne-Marie?
Here we have a photo of her - maybe as Crown Princess, I don't know - wearing the stomacher attached to a necklace. And the original earrings, it seems.
