Now that is a most glittering bracelet indeed. One can wonder what was the reason for the royal family to 'break up' the Netherlands East-Indies Bracelet while there are impressive bracelets like this one? I had a discussion with a jewelry expert and she stated that reconstructing the Netherlands East-Indies Bracelet is technically no problem at all, but most important is: does the royal family wánt it to be reconstructed? If they think that the large bracelet split in two nice bracelets, a ring with an impressive stone and probably three broches serve them better, then it is their right to do so. I had not thought about that because I considered the present state of jewels as 'holy' but indeed the whole history of the collection is one of breaking up and creating again. This bracelet on Máxima looks like something acquired or a forgotten one in the cassettes. I have no idea. A very beautiful, inventive and glittering bracelet it is, I think.
