She bought the Greek key tiara from her sister Victoria Melita to give to her new daughter-in-law Princess Helen of Greece; supposedly it is still owned by King Michael.
She also bought a sapphire necklace (very art nouveau) from VM to give to her daughter Elisabetha as a wedding present when she married Prince George of Greece. I believe Queen Frederica sold it in aid of the Greek Red Cross (or some other such organization).
And she bought the sapphire kokoshnik which had belonged to GD Vladimir (VM's mother-in-law) for herself, and it went to Ileana, who took it to the US after WWII and sold it.
Of course, there was Cartier for additional trinkets . . . like the diamond necklace with the immense sapphire drop.
