You are right , the tiara I mentioned was a present of the former Societé Generale and the belgian Nobility gave Princess Josephine Charlotte a bracelet she liked so much that she wore it immediately. Archduchess Astrid’s daughter did not wear the Congo tiara for her wedding but a loan from Luxembourg. Kind Regards MO
--Previous Message-- : The Societé Generale tiara would obviously be : a good choice, both because it significance : and because it makes a lovely wedding tiara. : Another contestant would be the Kongo : necklace tiara, wich was worn by four brides : so far. They might continue that tradition. : To be honest, I would prefer a more romantic : looking wedding tiara. But surely they won't : ask my opinion . : : But if there is a Lannoy tiara available for : her, that would be great. I think she could : be proud to wear a tiara from her own : family. We will be able to see her with : Luxembourg jewellery later ! : : Can we dig out some Lannoy wedding pics? : Especially of her parents and siblings. That : might give us a hint. : --Previous Message-- : I hope she will wear the Belgian tiara : present : of the belgian Nobility to Josephine : Charlotte which escape from the Auction in : Paris. : Years ago the son of the late Count Everard : de Limbourg Stirum and HRH Princess Hélène : d’ Orleans married a Countess de Lannoy : (first cousin ) and she wore a de Lannoy : small tiara. : : --Previous Message-- : It can be a Luxembourg diadem. Maybe the : family De Lannoy (father) or the family : Della Faille de Leverghem (mother) also have : a heirloom. : : : : :
