I suppose some Royal Houses will consider giving diamond jewellery (some always will) but many others certainly will not. These are not the times anymore for such expensive gifts, plus QEII already has an immense amount of diamond jewellery at her disposal. In fact she probably has the largest collection in the world! If she had to wear all of them at the same time, her frail little body would be crushed in seconds. A nicer and far more appropriate gesture would be for her to make a jublilee donation to build new or renovate community buildings, shelters, hospices etc. Just my thoughts though...
