Dawn, not every piece depicted in the wedding gift illustration are accounted for at all! The biggest ‘loss’ perhaps is the ruby necklace, which was obviously meant to go with the ruby tiara, but was (like the tiara at one point) sold and could not (in contrast to the tiara) be bought back for the Bernadotte collection. I presume that many of the smaller pieces which are neither in the Swedish nor Danish collection anymore might have been sold at one point by CP Margaret’s sons when they lost their titles upon unequal marriage. Below, just the three tiaras, the Grenadier’s brooch… …and CP Margaret herself in two images when she managed to wear two tiaras at the same time.
