Thank you so much 4 posting this shot I have been trying forever with my camera and scanners to get a descent copy 4 my records. I have been using my digital camera and my majesty magazines. In the last copy of hours I have shot 700 photos and still have more to go. But I need to recharge the batteries before I can finish and then on to royalty magazines to do the same.

    : gilw, I don't think it's the Amethyst brooch,
: although on this picture it looks not so
: long (depends on the angle I suppose):

: *I only bought the magazine because HM was
: on the cover wearing this beautiful brooch
    : Love it!

: I think we can safely rule out the Queen's
: amethyst bouquet brooch as being the one
: Kate wore for this event. It is much larger
: than Kates, and quite long and thin.
    :
    :
    :
: It is more parallel and less
: "pointy" at the ends too.

: I believe that there is no use trying to
: speculate which brooch it is when all we
: have is a fairly poor quality close-up; and
: countless brooches to speculate about,
: owning to the Windsor's huge collection.
    :
: As no information was released about the
: brooch from St. James's Palace, all we can
: hope is that HRH will wear it again at some
    : point in the future.
    :
: The only thing I will say, is that this is
: promising that HRH is starting to wear
: jewellery for important occasions now; which
: bodes well for us jewellery spotters in the
    : future.

: I found this site in some research and I
: mentions Kate's brooch as being borrowed
: from the Queen. Go to the 10th picture and
: it mentions Queen's Amethyst Bouquet Brooch.
: Now whether it's true or not I don't know
: but that is what the brooch remainded me of.
