A very welcome development indeed! I suspect, though I may be wrong, that the Queen wore Queen Victoria's diamond collet necklace and earrings. I wonder if a tiara was worn. The mentioning of robes interests me. As it's an Australian portrait, I can't see the Queen being painted in her Garter robes so possibly an ermine robe? I do hope the Queen wore her Order of Australia sovereigns insignia. Can't wait to see it. RE
