Wishful thinking, but zero chance of happening, but wouldn't it be great if the powers that be designed a Sovereign's Mantle for the Order of Australia in Honour of the Jubilee? Two questions that come out of this news: (1) Is it a fair assumption that the Waleses will now tour Australia and NZ in October? (2) Are Canada and Australia the only (announced) realms that have commissioned Jubilee portaits? --Previous Message-- : : I don't think robes have ever been used in : Australia. : I could add some joking possibilities here : but had better not. : We shall see in due course. : : : --Previous Message-- : As you stated, her parliamentary robe.
