I have to agree with Glenn that the earrings which Princess Benedikte is wearing in the formal portrait are the "same" earrings which she always wore on formal occasions (see picture below)...which was from her mother Queen Ingrid...I do not think we ever named is as "Fringe" but I like that title
The only reason why you think they are different on RE's posted photo is because the blurriness of the photo tricks the eye...everything is the same, the post, shape, direction of the diamonds...Benedikte doesn't own any earrings that would resemble her mother's "Fringe" earrings so closely...it wouldn't make sense to own something so similar...
