I have the faint idea that the tiara with its subtle sapphires in the swirling 'wave' motif might actually look very appealing, but since the piece was only worn once as necklace so far, the idea of how it looks as tiara remains faint indeed. While I like the idea of long, dangling earrings, their bottom-heavy pendulum design does not echo the tiara in the best fashion, I'd say... Princess Letizia and Princess Charlene seem determined to compete in setting the record of who leaves a new tiara unworn the longest - one gathers dust in the vaults, the other is permanently on display, and both facts are decidedly absurd.
