Where are the pictures from the rest of your post please? --Previous Message-- : Last week, an element of the diamond and rubis : belt (now a brooch) belonging to the french : crown jewels was sold in auction in Rueil : Malmaison near Paris for 34430€ : : the complete parure was made in 1816 for the : duchess of Angouleme, the king's niece and : daughter of king Louis XVI and queen : Marie-Antoinette. The whole parure remained : unchanged until it was sold in 1887. The two : bracelets are now in the Louvre museum, the : tiara belongs to the Niarchos collection and : the big necklace was sold in auction by : Christies in 1982.
