Thank you so much for posting this! I was positive it was "the real thing" when I saw the tiara on the TV series, and most certainly a loan from some famous jeweler. But its provenance was much more than I would expect .
I have that picture of Pss Louise in my archives for some time, but I'd forgotten about it, I have it has "unknown whereabouts"...
What a beautiful, beautiful piece, so delicate and elegant. I prefer this version without the flowers on top. I wish I was the lucky future owner of this beauty, one can dream can't we .
How did it came to be auctioned? From the descend of Lady Maud Duff perhaps?
