Lovely piece. Some of us suspect this is the reset cabochon sapphire of Queen Juliana. It used to adorn a rather interesting pendant now it is set in a ring of diamonds.
  
Princess Irene seems to have received the cabochon earrings and I believe I saw Christina with the bracelet. Perhaps Princess Margriet now has the multi coloured brooch?
