Diamonds - a Jubilee Celebration by Caroline de Guitault is something like the 'exhibition catalogue' of this years BP exhibit. It contains pics and descriptions of - Queen Victoria's Small Diamond Crown - The Coronation Necklace and Earrings - QV's Fringe Brooch - Queen Alexandra's Kokoshnik Tiara - QA's Coronation Fan - Queen Mary's Girls of great Britain and Ireland Tiara ('Granny's tiara') - The Delhi Durbar Tiara - Jaipur Sword an Scabbard - Table Snuff Box of Frederick the Great of Prussia - The Cullinan Diamond (Cullinan III, IV, V, VI, VIII and IX) - The Delhi Durbar Necklace and Cullinan VII Pendant - The Greville Peardrop Earrings and Chandelier Earrings - The Queen's South Africa Necklace and Bracelets ('My Best Diamonds') - The Queen's Williamson Diamond Brooch - George IV's Diamond-hilted Sword - The Diamond Diadem (George IV Diademe) It's a lovely little (120 pages) book, a nice addition to every jewel-addict's library, but not an absolute 'must-have' (when one already owns Roberts' book). Maybe you can give Santa a hint . Alas, also in this publication not a word about the Cockade Brooch... (the lack of information about this stunning jewel was my great disappointment with Roberts book).
