    I completely agree with you Gemini.

    Of course at the time of Ps Joachim's first marriage to Miss Alexandra Manley no one was expecting that sadly some years later they would divorce... But years and events have passed... I think we can assume that future brides in the family will also have lowned family tiaras, and can be given new ones as personal gifts.

    Fine with me, as you say, the collection is not vast. In the old days when marriages occured between members of royal or noble families such questions were not issues of course, jewels just passed from a royal house to another along with the brides. Nowadays royal houses have to find ways to prevent their jewelry collections of being scatered, and the swedish and dutch houses are excelent examples.
