I think Maxima will use the Stuart Parure like the Grand tiara's of the Luxembourg and Swedish court.
Wether she'll wear it on april 30th is uncertain. I would love to see it on her if they have a white tie event in the evening (ball or concert) for that part of the day, using a smaller one for the day event. Im not sure there will be a white tie event in the evening so than I would prefer it if the new Queen used it for the actual swearing-in ceremony and make that the white tie event with tiara's.

: They could keep the Stuart parure in its
: original design and if the future Queen
: won't be predisposed to wear it, it can be
: used purely for official portraits, f.eg.
: Why not? Something like Queen Beatrix could
: have done. To broke such a historical and
: ancient piece like that it's almost a
    : sacrilege.
    :
: Máxima seems to be fond of jewels - tiaras,
: necklaces, brooches - we have had plenty of
: opportunities to see her shining with the
: magnificent variety that are in the Dutch
    : royal vaults.
    :
: But maybe the Stuart parure will be too much
: for their first appearance as Queen. It
: would denote a tremendous difference from
: her predecessor - in jewel terms.
    :
: The Stuart parure will be perfect to use at
: home or abroad for the most important State
: Banquets - for King Albert II and Grand Duke
: Henri, and since it has its origins in the
: UK, for Queen Elizabeth II. It could be (and
: in terms of whopper effect it is) the Dutch
: version of the Swedish Braganza and the
    : Luxembourgish Romanov tiaras.

: There has also often been said that the
    : Tiara
: is to heavy to wear for someone with regular
: headaches and migraines like Beatrix.
: Well there ís one strange side to the story
: that the Tiara might be to heavy: why do
: they never wear the necklace then?
: Since 1972 not only the Tiara hasn't been
: out of the vaults but also: the necklace was
    : never seen anymore...
    :
: Juliana often wore the Crownparure-Necklace
: together with the bandeau of the 23 big
    : diamonds.
: Which made for a very tasteful appearance.
: I think maybe they decided on these pieces
: that they were no longer practical and
: untill they are to be made into something
: else they are just stored.
    :
: The big Indonesian bracelet that was worn by
: Juliana always together with the
    : Crown-Parure already (after 1980) was
: destroyed (well made into several other
    : items I should say).
: Now sometimes you see Maxima wear a few
: diamond bracelets together on one arm....
: Which ofcourse is a shame while several
: bracelets together can never give this
: impression that the big bracelet
    : gave...silly realy!
: The other big bracelets the family owned
: (with saphires) are also in the process of
    : being dismantled.
: We've already seen Maxima wear a broche that
: was taken from one of these bracelets, as if
: there weren't saphire broches enough in the
    : collection...silly again!
    :
: Same with the saphire necklace; I do love it
: as a tiara, but I regret the fact that they
: now no longer have a reasonable saphire
    : necklace left...
    :
: So everything changes in this collection, as
: we all know the necklace and tiara of the
: 1901-national weddinggift was also destroyed
    : (around 1963).
    :
: I realy don't think we will ever see the
: Stuart-Parure back, it was not in any way
: more important in design then let's say the
: former Crownparure, which in 1897 also was
: demolished to make the new
    : (Stuart-)Crownparure.
    :
: Maybe (and I suspect that) we will be
: surprized with a totaly new designed parure,
: perfectly fitted for the new Queen, with all
: the main stones in it from the Stuart-Parure
: but in a more wearable form and to a more
    : subtle taste.
    :
: I would find that a great loss, most of all
: because of the beautiful design of the
: necklace that is not to be compared with any
: other necklace in any other royal family.
: It truly would be a big shame if they would
: have that necklace broken up.
: I would also be sorry for breaking up the
    : Stuart-Tiara but I would understand that
    : better...
