The necklace and earrrings were apparently given by Catherine the great to an ancestor of the Marquis of Lothian, who sold the necklace and earrings some years ago. I believe they are now with the Albion collection in Japan, if I recall correctly. Thus, Catherine is well represented --Previous Message-- : Not only the Duchess's emerald tiara, but : also, Catherine II of Russia's carved : emerald too. Not sure why they're in : Thailand, as my understanding of the script : used is less than zero.
