In three weeks time we will know if and what jewels the new Dutch queen and other ladies of the Royal Family have worn but im starting my predictions.
As it looks there are three major events:
1 Dinner at the Rijksmuseum on the 29th 2 Swearing-in ceremony in the Nieuwe Kerk on the 30th 3 Boattrip and government dinner at 't Muziekgebouw.
I will give two predictions for each event: A= what i hope to see B= what i expect to see
Beatrix: 1A) on her final event as queen wearing the lower setting of the Stuart Tiara with the necklace of the triangular motiv necklace/tiara with a pendant. Her diamond earrings and the brooch of the House diamond parure. 1B) no tiara but just saphire earrings in the smaller setting with her new saphire necklace and brooch, with a saphire bracelet.
2A) the pearlbutton tiara with the round pearlbrooch, three strands of pearls and pearldrop earrings (the same jewels she wore in 1980) 2B) the big pearl necklace, pearl drop earrings and a pearl brooch with a hat.
3A) the Diamond floral tiara of Queen Emma with central rubies, the ruby earrings and the ruby and diamond bow brooch with a ruby and diamond bracelet. 3B) Diamond earrings, a couple of the diamond starbrooches and a bracelet.
Maxima: 1A) Peacock parure, with the ruby bracelet of Queen Sophie and ruby earrings. 1B) Citrine jewels like on her 40th birthday or the Tutti frutti necklace and bracelet with the new emerald earrings.
2A) Antique Pearl Pavlovnik tiara with the big pearl necklace, pearshaped drop pearl earrings and the Russian devant corsage/brooch in the large setting on a gold dress 2B) the diamond bandeau, a diamond rivière, her drop earrings and diamond star brooches with a diamond bracelet.
3A) The Stuart tiara in it's grand setting with the thickstone necklace and bowbrooch of the House diamonds with the earrings of the set Willem III gave his 9 year old daughter Wilhelmina and a restored Indonesian bracelet 3B) Necklace of the Mellerio Ruby parure with ruby earrings the brooch and bracelet.
Laurentien: 1A) the Aquamarine parure 1B) earrings of the emerald parure, with a brooch
2A) rose cut diamond bandeau, diamond earrings, diamond floral brooch and bracelet. 2B) saphire earrings in small setting, Beatrix'new saphire brooch and necklace.
3A) Emerald parure in big setting with 5 prongs with the square emerald earrings of Beatrix 3B) Pieces of her own private collection of semi-precious stones and plastics.
Margriet: 1A) Saphire necklace/tiara with her own saphire earrings, small brooch and a bracelet from the weddinggift parure of Queen Wilhelmina. 1B) the second set of aquamarine earrings with the square brooch.
2A) the top of the Van Kampenparure so the diamond sunbursts with the pearl drops. The little pearl brooch, her diamond earrings and pearl bracelet. 2B) her own saphire earrings, brooch and a bracelet
3A) Bandeau a la Greque, Beatrix' turquoise earrings and bracelet with a diamond rivière 3B) Her diamond earrings, with a brooch and bracelet.
To the best of my knowledge only Crownprincess Victoria and her husband are officially listed as going so the guests will have to wait until a more precise list of attending royals is ready.
