Arabian gift or not, the fact is Queen Silvia has a good collection of emeralds, I am talking especially of the modern sets.
Queen Sofia of Spain on the contrary has been given more rubies than emeralds, apart from the twin "tuttifrutti" brooches with matching bracelet (and earrings?).
