    Martina, you might be right! I tried to sharpen and enlarge the picture, Cerys pointed to and to compare it with yours of the 'smaller' Devonshire tiara. There seem some resemblances (and some differences):



    - the 'scroll'-parts just above the base seem to be identical in both tiaras (see lower arrow)

    - the 'spiky' ornaments seem to be identical in both tiaras (at least on the side part, upper arrow)

    - there seem to be diamond (?) drops mounted above each scroll ornament (small circle). Looking closer to the colour picture of the Devonshire tiara, I see a tiny hook on the back of the scroll ornaments (especially on the one, on the right side of the central element)

    - the central element on Cery's pic is definitely not the 'original one'. It looks like a substantial diamond(?) cluster, a big central stone, surrounded by 8(?) smaller ones (big circle)
