I am not aware of the rules of etiquette in this matter, but I personally think she looked beautiful without tiara and/or other jewels. Just my opinion, and I'm sure she would have looked so with the addition of tiara and/or jewels.

: I'm no expert at etiquette, but if the
: invitation calls for tiara and orders, isn't
: it a faux pas to show up neither, if you own
: both? She has one tiara and one hair
: ornament, she could have worn either. Plus
: the riband and star of her St. Charles.
    : Very odd.

: Maybe she feels that she is too beautiful to
: be covered in diamonds. She wants her beauty
: to shine in the sea of diamonds. The fact
: is, she is not that pretty, or at least not
: naturally. Wasn't it speculated that her
: nose was fixed? Her shoulders are the size
: of a football linebacker. Somewhere, people
: compare her beauty to Princess Grace's.
: Charlene is not that pretty and so, in my
: opinion she should have been decked out in
: diamonds so that it can enhance the beauty
    : that she obviously lack.

: Mary's outfit was not the best (it reminds
    : me
: queen Sonja's coronation white dress),
    : Martha-Louise was just radiant (what a
: handsome couple with Ari) and Mette-Marit
: better than in Amsterdam !
