I agree Cindy. I add my sincere thanks to everyone contributing here. Perhaps this is off topic but once in a while I think a community like ours can do a bit of team building.
I check the board daily. And I used to have a policy of always including a pic. So here is a pic of my favourite royal lady for jewels, wearing her outfilt for the 1902 coronation. We do not know precisely when this photo was taken, to show what the Princess of Wales wore for the 1902 coronation. But she must have been pregnant for the photo. Prince George (who became Duke of Kent) was born on 20 December 1902.
The coronation of Edward VII was deferred from 26 June to 9 August 1902 because of his illness. I suspect that Queen Mary arranged for her photo as soon as she knew the event was being deferred.
