Yes of course, Spanish Royal Family has lost in two years all the popularity gained in 40 years...the crise, and also the tactless acts of the king (Botswana, webpage speeches and Corinna affair), and, Urdangarin Case have destroyed all built before. The Princes of Asturias also are not very popular to most of the Spaniards. Depending how the crise developes, the monarchy will survive. It's clear they are not very much involved in the real things of the people, the princes I say, and that is going to be a problem in a country as Spain, much used to the direct and not formal role of Juan Carlos. They are more serious, distant.

: Talking about Royal glitter, it seems to me
: that since the beginning of 2012, between
: the Botswana hunt, the King's health and
: all the Urdangarin affair, the Spanish RF
: has been very low profile.
: I do not recall important State visits to
: Spain or by the Spanish RF.
: Now they also had to give up the Royal

: the summers at Palma de Majorca.
: It's really a difficult moment in general,
: but also for the European Royals.
