I don't believe any member of this Board has been able to provide the provenance of the Duchess of Cambridge's necklace pictured below.

Could it possibly be compared to the bracelet worn recently by the Crown Princess of Brunei?

If so, then The Duchess's necklace might very well be a gift from the Sultan of Brunei.
