Is the King William IV brooch the oldest brooch, then? I suppose there are none from earlier queens, like Queens Mary I, Elizabeth I, Mary II or Anne? Or the consorts of James I, Charles I, Charles II, James II, or the four Georges? Or the Duchess of Kent, Queen Victoria's mother?
