Here is what my friend Christophe Vachaudez recently discovered The tiara that Emma Ruiz de Azcarate y Garcia de Loma wore on her wedding day with Manuel Morales, princess Inès of Bourbon-Two-Sicilies' son, was created by Mellerio for the international exhibition of Vienna in 1873 where it was displayed. Duke Robert of Parma payed attention to it and bought it and later offered the tiara to archduchess Maria-Anna when she married his son, prince Elie, in 1903. It was inherited by their daughter princess Alice, dowager duchess of Calabria who gave it to her daughter princess Inès
