Yes, I have long thought that was the watch too. In fact I may have seen picture comparisons to prove it.

Its not the bracelet, seen below, as in that the diamond band is two stones wide and separates as it gets close to the sapphire.
But then looking at the display of wedding gifts there must have been a lot of remodelling of stones, as the watch strap had a lot of sapphires in it (that I think she used as earrings)
But I don't know where the post is that you are talking about ?
