A couple of years ago I went to see an exhibition of Savoy jewels at the former royal residence of Venaria near Torino.
The big expectation of seeing Queen Maria José versatile pearls and diamonds tiara was disappointed because Prince Vittorio Emanuele did not lend it because of the dispute with his sisters for the sharing of some jewels.
TRH the Duke Amedeo and Duchess Silvia of Aosta lent a copy in paste (or rhinestones) of the Savoy knots and star tiara made by a jeweller from Florence. In my opinion this copy is all they have left, even if I never heard of any sale including this important tiara (unless it was privately sold).
Here Duchess Silvia is wearing the mentioned tiara, but I don't know if it is the original or the copy I have seen in Torino.
