I understand your point Henri, but I'm thinking that perhaps Queen Fabíola will pass on her major jewelry (the spanish diadem, the aquamarines, the pearls, her small diamond tiara...) to the new Queen, and perhaps she will give some of her smaller jewels to her nieces (in-law) as a gesture of her affection. Perhaps to the ones she feels closer, I don't know.
I would doubt if Pss Marie-Christine would get any jewel.
On Diane de Nassau née De Guerre I also have some doubts...This very elegant and distinguished lady is Ps Jean's second wife, and Queen Fabíola, as we know, is a strict catholic, I don't know how she reacted to this second marriage.
It puzzled me a bit why Diane Countess of Nassau wore a tiara privately owned by her sister-in-law, Pss Sybilla, at the prewedding event of Ps Guillaume's wedding. She looked splendid (to me one of the most elegant ladies) but since she is the wife of Ps Jean why did she not wore a tiara from the Grand-Ducal collection? I believe there were still several that could be worn by her...perhaps she didn't like them. Is it known how fluid is her relation with her husband's family?
