Lovely Princess Beatrix, I've always thought that blue and saphires suit her so well.
Is that the brooch that was reported as the gift from Queen Máxima's family, and known as the "Zorreguieta brooch"? If so, on what ocasion was it gifted to Queen Beatrix please? I would much apreciate acurate information on this brooch, because I've read some contradictory info. I remember Queen Máxima and Pss Laurentien have also worn it, its a very beautiful saphire brooch. Thanks in advance.
