Here is a link to the past, with various suggestions, which might work for various people.

For best quality, save the image file by clicking on the pic itself and using Control click, or right click to get the option "Save image as…". You get the best quality that way.

Edit: you need to experiment with the machine you have, and mouse or trackpad.
Try holding down Control, or Command, or perhaps even Option, while clicking or right clicking. Worth the time and effort to get good pics.

: I do it by taking a screen capture to my
: clipboard using the button. (print screen)
: Then I paste that into a drawing package,
: microsoft Paint is fine for it. (though I
: know you Gill use a good drawing package)
    :
: Then I select the area I want, copy it to my
: clipboard again, and then paste it into
: Powerpoint. From there I can then do a 'Save
: As' and save it into a jpeg file.
    :
: It sounds a bit long winded but speeds up as
: you get used to it.
    :
: I don't think I have ever pasted this onto
: this board before, but I hope it helps.

    : from websites.
    :
: Am I dreaming, or can anyone post it again,
: as I seem to have lost where I saved the
    : information :-)
