Since I have had such luck with your help in solving the mysteries surrounding the South African Necklace and The Greek Commemorative brooch, I though I would through out a new topic for discussion.
Here is a picture of QEII in Berlin, Germany in 1992.
She is wearing her turquoise and ??? demi-parure.
She is also wearing a brooch, which is very hard to see but it there on her left shoulder slightly overlapping the top turquoise flower on her gown.
My Questions are these: i) Does anyone know what the other stones are in this parure? (My guess is amethyst due to the colour but I am unsure.)
ii) Does anyone know the provenance of these jewels?
iii) Can anyone identify the brooch. (It may be a badge as it seems to have a silver crown on top)
