I cannot see any other good reason. Even if a lot is not described with noble or royal provenance it doesn´t mean is it not. Some prefer to stay unter the radar and a serious bidder will get more informations than given in the catalogue. Anyway, there must be a lot of need in the market when the prices were driven so high in the auction.
